Being Honest With Yourself Through Growth

Getting your shit together requires a level of honesty you can't even imagine. There's nothing easy about realizing you're the one that's been holding you back this whole time.

Remember all those times you have blamed someone else for how you feel about something that has to do with them? Yeah – that’s on you – not on anyone else. It isn’t anyone’s job to give you anything or do anything for you or to make you feel anyway. It’s purely ALL how you perceive things. And until you learn how to start taking accountability for emotions that you are NEGATIVELY reacting to – nothing will ever change, and the same problems with the same (or different) people will always occur.

Trust me – I’ve been there. I’m still there – and working through it. This shit isn’t easy, but it requires YOU to start taking accountability for things that are making you uneasy, pissed off, or (whatever else you feel).

When you stop blaming others for your problems – your life becomes much easier (and way better). You learn that you are indeed the one in charge of everything that you react to. Those reactions will pave your path. And you can walk that same path your entire life and respond to it the way you always have OR you can work through it and move past it. The key is to figure out WHY it’s bothering you so much and HOW you can help yourself learn and grow through any situation.

It’s not anyone’s job around you to save you or to shield you from feeling negative emotions, etc., it’s all on you. Our feelings are telling. And we need to listen to them and to figure them out instead of blaming the world for our uneasiness and the work that we should be doing.

Don’t forget: everything is always happening FOR you.
