Life is full of difficult choices.
Truly even doing the ‘right’ thing can feel incredibly challenging and painful. But that doesn’t mean that we should avoid it. Because within that pain and hardship is also the opportunity for feeling, releasing, and eventually, room for more aligned things.
But it’s not about the goal per se. It’s never about that, even though that’s what may inspire or motivate you.
It’s merely about returning to your truth.
It’s about the journey. It’s about being where you are right now and accepting it. And within that acceptance, you can figure out what is best for you.
And that can challenge situations and people in your life, including yourself. And that sucks. And it’s also okay.
Let it suck. Then let it go. Don’t get mixed up and complicated with it.
Do it entirely: mourn and then release it as best as you can.
That’s all; that’s enough.
The rest will follow and flow.
And most of all, remember that no matter the difficult choices you make for yourself, be gentle with yourself and seek joy.
I love you.
