Did you know that you can ACTUALLY change the way you think? So all the shitty things that happen to you and all the things that go wrong in your eyes may actually be right in someone else’s eyes. This means- you can pretty much find a positive in every single thing. And if you can’t- you CAN redirect your thoughts to something that is more positive and makes you feel good.
You are the only person who is in charge of your thoughts. This means, if anyone or anything gets in your head and changes your perception in a negative way, you HAVE the ability to immediately stop that and change your thoughts. You can train and teach your mind to let go of the negative shit and pick up the goodies (positive thoughts) instead.
Be mindful of what you’re thinking of throughout the day. If you’re feeling a negative emotion, be mindful of what you’re currently thinking about. Then think of as many positive things about it as possible. Redirect your thoughts into positive ones and watch your mood change.
