“”It is not selfish to do what is best for you.” -Mark Sutton

Well, it is- but not in a negative-stigmatized way. Choosing yourself does not need to be considered a ‘selfish’ act when the derogative is so negative. Choosing to do what is best for you is a REQUIREMENT to live a full and happy life. Choosing yourself means that you WANT in! In on the joy, the love, the happiness, etc., You want to be in on the GOOD; the really GOOD. And if you’re going to be in on that- then you must start making choices FOR yourself BECAUSE of yourself and wanting the best for you. Always from a place of love, not fear. Ignore the naysayers. Ignore the humans who have a problem with it. They don’t understand it- yet. And that’s okay. They are responding to it as you once did before you knew any better.

Start taking care of yourself today and every day. Loving yourself today and every day. CHOOSING yourself today and every day! When you choose yourself, you pour from a cup of LOVE, every time. And while those around you need that, the one who benefits the most is YOU!
