When you are feeling a negative emotion – there are 2 things that you can do about this.

I’ll share part A today (Part B can be found here!) ☺️

The first (and short-term but beneficial) thing you can do is to first recognize that you are feeling a negative emotion. Just be aware of it. And then you can ask yourself, “How would I rather feel about this instead?”

Be honest and when you figure out HOW you’d rather be feeling, you can then support yourself with finding thoughts that build positive momentum to feeling better with each thought and leaning into that vibration instead.

For example:
Say right now you are feeling anxious about something. Recognize the emotion, then ask yourself how you’d rather feel instead – which usually ends up being the opposite: relaxed/not worried/etc.,

THEN: think/adopt thoughts that will SUPPORT that positive feeling based on the truth (double support 😉)

Such as (and to each their own):
“I know that everything is happening for a good reason.” Or,
“I don’t have to worry because I know that everything will be okay because I have made it through every struggle thus far in my life and I will make it through this.”

Think of any thought that is not only true, but that will help you shift your feelings into a more positive direction.

For me, Spirituality plays a big role in helping me adapt better to what is going on around me and gives me a feeling of safety and comfort to lean back on when I am struggling. I follow what resonates with my soul.

Find your truth and follow that. You can get through anything and everything, it’s all WITHIN YOU already!
