Here’s another article on how to be successful. You don’t need to remember everything, but do take with you the strategies that resonate with you the most, for those are the only ones that will be beneficial in the long run.
- Define your version of success: About your career and personal life. Figure out what the hell you want. What do you actually, really want? Not what others want or are doing- but what do YOU want? Ask yourself important questions such as: What do I want to achieve personally, mentally, spiritually? What do I want to do in life? Define your success- with as much detail as possible. If you’re not sure, think about it and ideas will flow to you. The more you want something, the more likely you’ll stay patient and overcome the obstacles to achieve it. Make sure it resonates with you.
- Sleep on the idea: A brilliant idea just came to you, and you’re overly thrilled- could it be the answer to all my problems? Who knows, but spend some time thinking about it. You could waste all of today being excited about an idea just to wake up tomorrow and realize you don’t actually care. Good ideas that resonate with us tend to stay in the back of our minds instead of instantly disappearing within a few days.
- Prepare for failure: You ought to send Failure a friend-request and get tight with it faster than a bullet. You know there is no success without failure. Write down the obstacles that may arise along the way and how you can overcome them. Preparation goes a long way.
- Set up little goals that make up the big goal: Each big plan has a lot of small goals inside of it. Brainstorm the little goals you’re going to need to achieve and how you can go about doing them.
- Self-discipline your ass: Take the road less traveled, work on your goal daily. Set up a time and a place every single day to achieve your (little or big) goal. If you don’t make time for it, then how will it possibly get achieved?
- Concentrate on one thing at a time: We multitask too much these days to get anything done. Stay disciplined, put the distractions away for a specified period of time, work on one goal at a time. Give it everything you’ve got. Don’t do anything half-assed because you get out what you put in. Do this daily, and in time, you will know when to move onto the next step.
- Fall on your ass- repeatedly: Success is all about failure. So go after it and fall if you have to, just don’t forget to get back up. Fail regularly. And eventually, if you don’t give up, you’ll probably succeed at something.
- Put your ego away: You’ll fail harder when your ego is in charge. But it isn’t about how hard you fall, it about the ability to get back up. If your ego is directing you and you fall on your ass- you may not want to get back up at all- simply because it’s not for the right reasons. So make sure it’s your actual-self that is going after a goal, not your ego-self.
- Stay humble: When you succeed, stay true to your character. Be grateful and confident. Don’t get conceited, it’s annoying and doesn’t look good on anybody.
- Reflect: Get your thoughts on paper. It’s an excellent way to take a pause each day to see how far you’ve come, where you are at now, and where you can go. Reflecting can be powerful even if you just put in five minutes daily.
Well, that’s all for now, folks.[lightbox title=”LightboxTitle” url=”PageURL” width=”900″ height=”500″][/lightbox] Happy falling!
